Solution Design and rapid prototyping

As the incidence of fires in Dhaka's slums rose, BRAC tried  to find fast solutions to help preserve people's lives and livelihoods. I led a team through the process of human-centered design to understand the problems of fire in slums, and devise ways to reduce the risk and impact of fire incidents. In partnership with Ideo.org, my team used behavioral insights from field visits and interviews to come up with feasible prototypes to prevent fire incidents and reduce their risks.
